As your dedicated Funding Director, Match Capital Partners provide pro-active, informed full service fund raising
and deal management, including assistance with strategy and planning, finding and approaching funders, acquirors
and targets, valuations, and hands-on transaction execution.
First contact
Please Email your executive summary. At no cost, we will perform an initial
review to see if your investment opportunity
stands a reasonable chance of securing funding. If suitable, we will then
provide you with an outline proposal, including
our remuneration
Preparation phase
Following appointment as your Funding Director, we work with you in order to ensure that your investment opportunity is
presented in a way that provides the greatest chance of securing funding. Specifically this includes:
- reviewing and re-drafting your funding documents (executive summary, business plan, financial forecasts,
presentation and due diligence documents) in order to ensure that your investment opportunity clearly articulate
an attractive investment case;
- from the investment perspective, ensuring that your funding strategy matches both your needs and market appetite;
- devising a funding approach; identify and assess potential investors
With the investment readiness work complete, we pull together a comprehensive briefing package providing an investor
with the key information they will require to evaluate your investment opportunity.
Marketing phase
In the marketing phase, as your Funding Director, we approach potential investors on your behalf -such as investors
registered
at WirelessMatch- but also many others all carefully
selected based on our knowledge of their investment
criteria and your funding requirements, and set up meetings for you.
We have extensive relationships throughout the business angel, venture capital and development capital communities
in the UK, Europe and further afield so we are not only able to identify the most appropriate investor for you but also to
make
the necessary introductions to the right people. We manage the post meeting follow-up and the initial due
diligence,
providing support in order to minimise the drain on management resources.
Due diligence & pre- and post completion
As your Funding Director, we provide assistance during negotiations with investors, in order to assist you to achieve
the right deal, based on our knowledge of the market and of investor specific practices. Once outline deal is agreed
we
project manage final due diligence in order to see the process through to completion.
Post-completion, we normally resign as your Funding Director. We remain available to act as a non-executive director
going forward.
